Ben Van Son ’13 enters his second season on the coachingstaff in 2014=15 after completing his Haverford athletic career.Van Son led the team to an undefeated Mid-Atlantic CollegiateFencing Association (MACFA) season in 2010 while also qualifyingfor the NCAA national championships. In 2009, he made the finalround of eight at both the Junior Olympics and the Division 1National Championships. Van Son fenced internationally at cadetinternational events and junior world cups from 2006-09. Hisprevious coaching experience includes coaching foil at theUniversity of Rochester from 2006-09 and the Rochester Fencing Clubfrom 2007-09.
