Erin Seglem ’14 joined the Haverford College women’s cross country and track & field programs as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Seglem returns to Haverford after graduating from the College with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2014. During her time at Haverford, Seglem competed for the Fords in cross country and track & field. As a first-year in 2010, she helped Haverford reach the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship, finishing as the Fords’ third scoring runner at the national meet. She was also Haverford’s second scoring runner at the Centennial Conference Championship that season and competed at the NCAA Mideast Regional.

On the track, Seglem competed primarily in the middle distances. She earned honorable mention All-Centennial Conference recognition as a member of Haverford’s runner-up 4x800-meter relay at the 2012 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships.

Following her collegiate career, Seglem remained involved in the running community. She spent four years with New York Road Runners (NYRR), where her roles included Team for Kids Program Manager and Coach for Run for the Future, a seven-week program that introduced young women to running and prepared participants for their first 5K. With Team for Kids, Seglem worked with runners across a wide range of experience levels and helped manage participation in major events, including the New York City Marathon, NYC Half and Brooklyn Half.

Seglem also worked with Brooklyn Running Company, assisting runners with footwear selection based on fit, gait and individual training goals.

Seglem earned an MBA with a focus on Circular Value Chains from Bard Graduate Programs in 2024.
