Chris O'Sullivan

Chris O’Sullivan has joined the Haverford College men’s cross country and track & field programs as an assistant coach for the 2025–26 season. An accomplished runner and experienced coach, O’Sullivan brings a wealth of knowledge to the Fords.

O’Sullivan currently serves as a fifth-grade homeroom teacher in the Upper Darby School District, where he is also the co-leader of the Highland Park Running Club. He previously worked in the School District of Haverford Township as an assistant coach for the middle school cross country and track & field teams. Earlier in his career, he was a P.E./Health teacher and athletic director at Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Ridge, S.D., where he oversaw all upper and lower elementary athletics, managed scheduling, budgeting, referees, and community events, while also leading P.E. and health classes.

A 2015 graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, O’Sullivan went on to earn his PreK-4 Certification in 2018 and a Master’s degree in Education from Cabrini University in 2020. He also pursued Mandarin studies at Peking University and Beijing Language and Culture University in Beijing, China.

O’Sullivan currently resides in Havertown, Pa.
